We played Awbrey Glen for the first time today. I shot a 99. I liked the course, but they have really fast greens that are easy to three-putt.

I now have met my goal of playing 30 rounds this summer, and I am still playing another round on Monday!
We just got back from a trip to the Oregon coast. On Friday, we played Crestview in Waldport. I shot a 42. On Saturday, we played Sandpines in Florence. It was really windy, and I shot a 97. Then on Sunday we played Agate Beach in Newport. There I shot a 51.
There is only one week until school starts! I only need two more rounds to meet my goal of playing 30 rounds this summer.
I haven't gotten around to posting on here for a while, so here's a recap:
7/22 - I played Aspen Lakes for the first time. I shot 99.
7/29 - I shot 100 at Lost Tracks.
7/30 - I shot 99 at Lost Tracks.
8/2 - We played the Woodlands course at Sunriver. I shot 101.
8/6 - I shot 95 at Lost Tracks
8/8 - The COJGA tournament was at Broken Top. I didn't do very well.

So far this summer, I have played 20 rounds. I have to play 10 more to meet my goal.
Today we played the back nine at Lost Tracks twice.  The first time, I shot 47. The second time I moved back to teebox #3 and shot 49. My goal is to play 30 rounds of golf this summer, and I already have one!
Recently, a billboard for Lost Tracks with my picture on it went up! Last summer I did a photo shoot for them so it's a picture from that. It's on the Bend parkway going south before the Truman exit.
I will be playing golf again soon once the weather warms up!
Play my new golf terms quiz! When you're done, report your score on the form below the quiz on that page. Have fun!
Today was warm enough for us to hit balls at the range at Lost Tracks! Also today, we renewed our membership there. After basketball season, I will soon be playing regularly again.
Today is the last day of summer vacation. This summer, I played 32 rounds. 19 were at Lost Tracks, and I played in 5 COJGA tournaments. I had 15 birdies, and my handicap is 19.6. I will probably still play a few more rounds this year on weekends.
Today I was a model in some pictures for Lost Tracks. They are going to have a display at the airport. It was fun, although I had to get up early so the light would be right.
We watched some of the Jeld-Wen today at Crosswater. This is probably the last year it will be held in Central Oregon. It was fun. We watched Morris Hatalsky hit it about 8 inches away from a hole-in-one, and we saw lefty Russ Cochran hole it from the fairway for an eagle on the 18th hole. We also saw Tom Watson and all the other big names. After the second round, D.A. Weibring is in the lead at -10, two strokes ahead of Tom Lehman.
